Dear Friends,
Membership is what keeps our Chabad House alive in Ann Arbor. It sustains the core of our work, keeps our doors open daily, and ensures that anyone who needs connection, support, or community can find it here. Your membership is the backbone of everything we do.
This past year, as we marked 50 years of the Chabad House in Ann Arbor, showed just how far that support goes. Our holiday programs brought the community together with joy and Jewish pride. Camp Gan Israel had a record season filled with energy and growth. Behind the scenes, membership helped cover essentials like security, building maintenance, and rising utilities — the practical work that keeps our Chabad House safe, warm, and welcoming. At the same time, thousands of students found a home at the Chabad House through Shabbat dinners, classes, and countless everyday moments of guidance and connection. Still, membership does not cover the full cost of operating at this level. Much of what we accomplish depends on the additional generosity of those who want to keep this community strong and accessible.
As we celebrate 50 years of the Chabad House in Ann Arbor, we are reminded how much heart has built this community and how much more we can grow together. But none of it happens automatically. Every Chabad House stands fully on its own — no central funding, no outside support. Everything here exists solely because of the people right here in our community.
If you haven’t yet completed the membership form, we would be grateful if you could take a moment to do so:

Thank you for being part of our Chabad House family and for helping carry forward the work that began here 50 years ago.
May the month of Kislev bring you and your family continued blessings of health, happiness, peace, and nachas, and may we go from strength to strength together as a community.
With warmth and appreciation,
Dr. Shmuel Solovyev
President, Chabad House of Ann Arbor
